According to YouTube, the ideas for these two health-focused features were created by a team of experts gathered by the US National Academy of Medicine (NAM).
The firm claims, with data from the Oxford Economics Impact Report 2021, that YouTube is now an integral part of the daily life of hundreds of millions of Indians.
It was also noted that since the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak, 69% of users have found YouTube to be a reputable source of information.
YouTube is always on the lookout for ways to improve the service. A new Smart Downloads function that lets users view information without relying on a data connection was reportedly observed being tested earlier this year.
