Microsoft has begun rolling out the Xbox November 2021 update, which offers new features and enhancements to Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X consoles.
For users of current-generation consoles, the business has incorporated new colour filters and audio settings that enhance the user experience while using headphones.
Accessibility feature tags for games in the Microsoft Store will be available to developers in addition to updates to Xbox controllers and the Xbox mobile app.
Xbox Series S/X consoles now provide enhanced colour filters for players with colour blindness or colour vision insufficiency, according to a Microsoft blog post outlining the modifications included in the November Xbox update.

Deuteranopia, Protanopia, and Tritanopia are the three colour filters that will be available to users after the update.
Microsoft adds that the effects of an applied colour filter will be apparent on all games, movies, apps, and menus on the system, unlike certain games that have such a feature built in.
Gamers can also utilise the quick settings guide under Profile & system > Quick settings to adjust these filters while playing on the console.
Accessibility features such as configurable difficulty, specific volume settings, colour options, and input remapping can now be specified by game developers for their games.
Accessibility data is already displayed in over 325 games, including Sea of Thieves and Microsoft Flight Simulator, according to Microsoft Store, Xbox website, Xbox Game Pass mobile app, and Xbox app for Windows PC.
It’s finally here! Xbox Cloud Gaming Support is now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and the Xbox One X!
In addition to the Xbox One Wireless Controller, the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, and the Xbox Adaptive Controller, the Xbox update also includes new software for these controllers.
For the first time, the more modern Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X controllers will be able to benefit from lower latency, greater cross-device connection, and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X consoles now include an option to “Mute speaker audio while headset is inserted,” a change made by Microsoft.
Gamers will no longer have to adjust their speaker volume when using a headset thanks to this feature, which can be found under Settings > Additional options.
A new Audio testing and details screen under Settings has been created by the firm to help manage volume and output settings.

In addition, gamers will be able to watch or comment on game captures provided by other players on the app.
It’s possible to check if your console has the latest software by going to Profile & System > Settings > System > Updates in order to see if it has the November update.
