TikTok’s draughts folder is a great place to keep videos for review before publishing, but it’s always good to get a second opinion on the quality just in case.
The first step in receiving feedback is to export your draughts from TikTok and save them to your camera roll or photo album. From these pages, you can send carefully crafted text messages to your friends, knowing full well which ones are likely to go viral.
Even if they don’t end up becoming viral, a minor adjustment based on a casual conversation has the potential to make them TikTok stars. In this article, we’ll show you how to edit your TikTok draughts with an online video editor and then share your final product on your phone.

Unlock the draughts folder
Adapt your security settings
Share the video on TikTok in secret.
To begin, go to your Drafts folder.
In order to view your profile page, launch TikTok on your iOS or Android device, and then tap Profile in the app’s lower-right corner. Select Drafts from the menu on the left to see all of your unreleased videos.
Although it appears in your profile, only you have access to this folder. Finished content won’t be leaked to the public at any point in the process. You will lose access to your draughts in TikTok if you decide to uninstall the app.
Modify Your Account’s Privacy Settings (step 2).
After selecting the movie and clicking Next, you’ll be sent to a page where you may adjust privacy settings; from there, select Who can watch this video next to the lock icon, and then select Only Me. It’s important to take this extra step because else, your video will be available to everybody on TikTok. To provide TikTok access to your phone, tap More Options at the bottom of the page, then Save to Device.
The Third Step: Sharing the Video on Private TikTok

After you’ve pressed Post to upload your video, you may unlock it from your profile by touching the padlock icon. Your edited TikTok video, complete with any effects, filters, and background music you may have added, will be downloaded to your device.
Try an online video editor like Kapwing if you want more options for editing your TikTok draughts. With Kapwing’s simple-to-use tools, making and publishing material is a breeze; once your films have been edited, you can even share them right from the app.
Videos up to five minutes in length can be edited in a web browser and exported watermark-free. To get the best quality on TikTok, modify the Output Size settings to 9:16. Portrait-oriented films will have black bars above and below them, whereas 9:16 videos will fill the screen.
