Pubg Mobile Servers Shut Down in India: Check out Every Required Detail About Shut Down Right Here

PUBG has informed players about the impending shutdown of its game servers in India by posting the news on both its Facebook page and its official forum.

In India, PUBG Mobile is not only illegal but also blocked.

Tencent Games has decided to stop providing any kind of service or access to PUBG Mobile users that are located in India.

From today forward, PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite will no longer function properly in India. The corporation made the announcement on Facebook, where it stated that it will terminate all access to its servers located in India.

In addition, an identical remark was made on the community forum for the game. As part of the second wave of restrictions placed on apps in China for reasons related to national security, the gaming app was included in the list of those prohibited in India. India has prohibited the use of PUBG and 117 other mobile games and applications.

PUBG Mobile took to Facebook to break the news that it would be discontinuing its services with the following message:

“Dear Fans, Tencent Games will, on October 30, 2020, comply with an interim order issued by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology on September 2, 2020 by ending all service and access for users in India to PUBG MOBILE Nordic Map: Livik and PUBG MOBILE Lite

(together referred to as “PUBG Mobile”). The owner of the intellectual property associated with PUBG will once again have access to the rights necessary to publish PUBG MOBILE in India.

Customers were unable to download the programme from either the Indian Google Play Store or the Apple iOS App Store; however, users who already had the game loaded were able to play it in some situations.

Because the PUBG India servers are being shut down, it is going to be significantly more difficult for people in India to continue playing the game. However, we believe that it will still be possible for some users to circumvent the restrictions by employing a virtual private network (VPN) or a proxy.

“The security of user information has always been one of our highest priorities, and we have always acted in accordance with the data protection laws and regulations that are in effect in India.”

The information on the gaming of every user is processed in an open and honest manner, as described in our privacy policy. Tencent said on the game’s official Indian Facebook page, “We sincerely appreciate you for your support and affection for PUBG MOBILE in India. We regret this outcome very much.”

Following the announcement of the ban, PUBG Corporation exercised its right to revoke Tencent’s publishing rights to the game.

Notably, despite the fact that PUBG mobile may no longer be available, PUBG itself can still be played by players. This is due to the fact that PUBG Smartphone is the mobile version of the original PUBG game, which was initially developed by PUBG Corporation, a gaming firm based in South Korea.

Despite this, PUBG Mobile became available to the public after the Chinese corporation Tencent Games purchased a one and a half percent share in Bluehole Studio.

This was the version that was banned by the Indian government because of its relationship with China; however, the mobile gaming app for PC was not one of the versions that was banned.

TikTok and 58 other Chinese applications were among those that the Indian government initially targeted when it began its crackdown on apps developed in China.

After having the programmes withdrawn from the app stores, network access was restricted to prevent their use. This resulted in consumers being unable to download TikTok for the first time, and then those users who already had the app found that they were unable to use it after the servers that hosted the app disabled it.

During the initial wave of the ban on Chinese applications in India, in addition to TikTok, other popular apps such as Shareit, WeChat, CamScanner, and UC Browser were also prohibited from use.
