Can you realise it’s been nearly a decade since Grand Theft Auto 5 came out? Not us, either. Players will not be bored for long with the new Los Santos Drug Wars update for GTA Online. The discovery of what may be a hint for Vice City’s appearance in GTA 6 in GTA Online’s archives has also piqued the interest of the gaming community.
New objectives and GTA podium cars have been added to GTA Online: Los Santos Drugs Wars, but GTA 6 fans are more interested in the tease for Vice City. GTA 5 fan “Classique” made the discovery, and it pertains to a never-before-seen T-Shirt in the game.
Presumably tucked away for the upcoming taxi update to GTA Online, ‘Classique’ boasts that “the skyline in the background is not from Los Santos,” thanks in part to its tropical vegetation and vivid look.
It’s a question you’re probably asking yourself: is this truly Vice City? This year, Rockstar Games experienced a major leak of Grand Theft Auto 6. Videos of tests, which included hundreds of assets, went viral. The return to Vice City, however, sparked the interest of Grand Theft Auto 6 fans everywhere.
Although clues about GTA 6 have been hard to come by up to this point, Rockstar Games decided to drop a hint about the next game in the series in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Definitive Edition. Again, palm trees were present in the background of the suburban home seen in the clue.

While it’s almost certain that Grand Theft Auto 6 will bring players back to Vice City, the landscape is likely to have been significantly altered by Rockstar Games, as it was in Liberty City and Los Santos when they were updated to HD. We won’t know for a while, so until then, there are plenty of titles available for PS Plus Extra and Premium in December 2022 to keep you amused.
