The developers at OnePlus’s OneLabs division have released a brand-new programme called Clipt. The programme provides a feature similar to a clipboard and allows you to copy and paste between your phone, tablet, and computer.
A user can simply copy a text from their phone and paste it into their PC using Clipt. They can now send texts directly from their phone to their computer without having to find a workaround.
If the user logs into Clipt on multiple devices using the same Google account, they will be able to share text, photos, and files stored in Google Drive.

Clipt is a free app for Android phones and tablets that can be downloaded from the Google Play store, as well as a Chrome extension for computers running Windows or macOS.

In the near future, OnePlus promises to release the software for iOS users. You can connect your clipboard across all of your devices with the help of the Clipt app and Chrome extension.
Once you’ve got it set up, you can effortlessly send files back and forth between as many devices as you’d like by simply copying on one and pasting on another.
The purpose of this new app is to make it unnecessary to use intermediary services like email or messaging programmes to transfer data between mobile devices, such as photos or documents.
Furthermore, you can send huge files to recipients on different devices without resorting to methods that circumvent the 25MB limit imposed by most email clients.
The only need is that both devices be signed into the same Google account, as Clipt uses your own Google Drive to transport the data.

OnePlus assures users that their data is safe when transmitted to Clipt. Clipt is “siloed,” the company writes on its blog, so it can only access the files it generates.
“In the permissions, you’ll find we request the read and write of your Google storage,” the article reads.
To prevent your device from filling up with unnecessary data, “with the app or extension we maintain the last 10 items exposed to you, but it auto deletes after that.”
