A lot is riding on the Indian gaming market for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) developer Krafton.
An investment of $5.4 million has been made in Nautilus Mobile, a game developer.
Pune, Maharashtra, is the home base of the Indian production company’s headquarters.
It is an Indian company that specializes in developing Indian sports games.
In What Capacity Does Nautilus Mobile Operate?
Nautilus Mobile, an Indian sports game developer, was founded in 2013 and specialized in creating and publishing cricket video games.
Real Cricket, the company’s current flagship game, is available on all major platforms.

An official statement from Krafton claims that this game developer has amassed over 100 million downloads worldwide and over 10 million month-to-month active users.
Additionally, it is claimed to be one of the world’s most popular forms of cricket.
With the acquisition of Nautilus Mobile in 2020, JetSynthesys, an Indian digital entertainment technology company, wants to launch its cricket esports business.
For Krafton, this will be their first investment in an Indian video game studio.
“Krafton has continued to invest in contributing to India’s digital ecosystem development and will continue to extend its direct involvement in the gaming business,” the studio said in a statement.
According to the president of Nautilus Mobile, “As pandemics further accelerate the development of Indian mobile gaming,
we are pleased to be able to accelerate the future of Nautilus Mobile through this investment acquisition,” he added,
“The goal is to expand Nautilus Mobile’s gaming portfolio by expanding its game library through collaboration with Crafton, which has played a key role in the global mobile gaming industry.”

Krafton CEO Hyun-il Son stated that

“Nautilus Mobile is a proven game company that has successfully built cricket games and gained a highly engaged community on that basis and both companies will do their best to achieve their shared goal of providing a differentiated sports gaming experience for Indian users.”
Planned Expansion of Krafton India
Krafton has declared that it is looking into further business and investment prospects in emerging regions, which include India.
An estimated $80 million was invested in Indian IT startups, including eSports firm Nordwin Gaming and game streaming service Loco, just this year.
