Reliance Jio’s recent launch of a video-conferencing app called JioMeet has bolstered Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Vocal for Local call.
JioMeet will compete with Zoom and Google Meet, both of which are based in the United States. According to reports, JioMeet will be able to host meetings of up to 100 participants with the same level of control as Zoom’s video conferencing app.
On the Play Store, it has been downloaded more than 100,000 times and is compatible with Android, iOS, Windows, and SIP/H.323.
In addition to creating and rescheduling meetings in advance, the app also allows you to send invitations to your invited guests.
When it comes to the free app, there is no limit on the number of meetings that you can hold and each meeting can last for up to 24 hours.
For added security, hosts can enable the feature “Waiting Room” to prevent participants from joining without their permission.

Using the Jio Meet App, how Do I Create a New Account?
Open the app and click on the Sign Up button in the bottom right corner to begin the sign-up process.
Enter your email address and first and last name, then click the Next button to continue.
Verification mail will be sent to the given email address now.
Open the e-mail and confirm its authenticity by clicking the “Verify” button.
What follows is a browser page where you’ll have to enter your password.

Click the Next button after entering the password.
Once you’ve finished, return to the app and sign in with your username and password.
