Every day, Instagram users see hundreds of new photos and videos uploaded to the site. Instagram posts can be difficult to find again unless you take some kind of action to save them or like them. Instagram conveniently allows you to see all of the posts you’ve liked in one place. Additionally, we will explain how to view Instagram content that your friends have liked.
The Instagram Likes feature (2022)

Flip Through Instagram Photos You’ve Favorited
To access your Instagram settings, follow these steps: 1. Open Instagram on your mobile device, then tap the hamburger menu in the top-right corner. You may access “Your activity” from the menu that displays after clicking the button.
To see the Instagram posts you have liked, open your profile and navigate to the “Interactions” tab, then tap “Likes.”
Finally, you may check out all the media — photos, videos, and Reels — that you have enjoyed in the past. You may change the order of these posts from most recent to oldest, or vice versa, choose a custom time range, and even restrict the results to those posted by a certain Instagram user. The filters can be applied with the click of a button labelled “Sort & filter” in the top right corner.

The Instagram Likes of Your Friends
Although we have covered how to view liked posts from your profile, some of you may be wondering if there is a way to view what your friends have liked on Instagram. In reality, up until October 2019, the “Following” tab on Instagram displayed a list of all the posts the user has liked.
We now have no way to see which posts other people have liked, but reputable app reverse engineer Alessandro Paluzzi recently noticed that the firm may be preparing to bring back this option. Whether or not this comes to fruition is something we must watch for.
To see if your friend has lately liked any posts, you’ll have to manually check their followers list and the postings of other creators. In some cases, such as when you’re curious about the popularity of a particular user’s posts among your friends, this strategy could prove useful. The steps are as follows:
First, go to your pal’s Instagram page and click the “Following” button there. Click on the person’s name to access their profile and then click on the “Likes” tab.
The second way to tell if a friend has liked one of your posts is to go through their feed and look for the phrase “Liked by friend name>” above the caption. You may see all of the third person’s likes by tapping the like counter if you share friends with them. Of course, for this to function, the individual in question must either have a public profile or you must be following them.
