Combine Your Fire TV Stick with a Primary Remote
If you haven’t previously done so, here’s how to pair your first remote control with your Fire TV Stick.

Make sure your Fire TV Stick is properly paired by unplugging it from the wall outlet, waiting five seconds, and then reconnecting it. Your Stick will be reset to factory settings.

Make sure you put new batteries in the remote you’re trying to link. Then, after the Fire TV Stick has booted, get it as close as you can to the TV and press and hold the Home button for 10 seconds.
Release the Home button when the remote’s indicator light begins blinking. You can now use the remote to interact with your Stick. Enjoy!
Put a Second Remote in Control of Your Fire TV
You may easily add extra remote controls to your Fire TV Stick by selecting them from a list.

Use the “Settings” option on the Fire TV Stick’s home screen with the linked remote to accomplish this.
Choose “Remotes & Bluetooth Devices” from the list of options under “Settings.”
Click the option labeled “Amazon Fire TV Remotes.”

To link a replacement remote with your Stick, go to Settings > Devices > Remotes > Add New Remote.
Hold down the Home button for 10 seconds on the new remote you want to pair. Then, choose your new remote from the options presented on the screen of your Fire TV Stick.
