The iPhone has made it simple to stay informed anywhere there is access to Wi-Fi or data. This enables business people to stay in touch when on the road or in between customer meetings that take place away from the office. You have two choices if you wish to log out of a mail account on your iPhone.
Leave Your iCloud Accounts Alone
Through the Settings app, you may choose to log out of all iCloud services. Then, tap your “iCloud ID” or name under “Settings.” Select “Sign Out” at the bottom of the screen. All iCloud services, including Mail, iTunes, Apple Pay, iCloud Photo and Data Sharing, and all Shared Notes, to mention a few, are now deactivated on your device.

If you are utilizing these additional iPhone apps, this simple method is ineffective. You may disable or sign out of only one account on an iPhone that has email set up by going directly to the Accounts & Passwords section of Settings. All other iCloud and data-sharing features remain functional after signing out of an email account app.

Exit from Particular Mail Accounts
Go to the Settings app on your iPhone and choose “Accounts & Passwords.” Examine the active email accounts that you have on your phone. Private corporate email accounts, iCloud or Apple email accounts, Gmail or Outlook accounts, and other email services that are accessible on the iPhone are all possibilities.

Then, drop the slider from the On position to the Off position to log out of any of the accounts you see listed. To do this, tap the arrow to the right of the account. The account is still present on your iPhone after doing this. On this same screen, you may always switch it back on.

Gmail iPhone App Log Out
You must log out directly on the app and not in the iPhone’s Settings if your Gmail is delivered to your iPhone via the Gmail app and not through Mail. Click the Gmail app icon to launch it. You can add several Gmail accounts, just like you do with any other mail provider.
When you first open the app, you are requested to sign in if your Gmail account is not already open. You can view the email account email if you are logged in.

To access the screen that displays a list of all the Gmail accounts you use on your iPhone, tap your name and picture at the top of the screen and choose “Manage Accounts.” To sign out of a specific account on the iPhone, slide the slider adjacent to it to the Off position.
