There is a good chance that you can’t log in right now because Facebook Protect hasn’t been activated in your account.
It was in early March that Facebook started sending out an email to select users with the subject line, “You require advanced security from Facebook Protect.” If they didn’t do so by the due dates, they would be locked out of their accounts.
That address, security@facebookmail.com, appears to be one of the most commonly used spam addresses, so many Facebook users ignored the email.
