The famous photo and video sharing app Snapchat was recently acquired by Facebook. Inside the app, you can have a conversation with other users. There are currently more than 319 million active users of Snapchat every day.
The United States leads with 108 million users, but India is second with approximately 74 million users. While these figures still lag well behind those of competitors like Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok.
Snapchat’s many features—including “snaps,” “stories,” “custom stories,” “snap streak,” “filters,” “lenses,” “geo finder,” “disappearing messages,” and “Snapchat geofences”—
If you’ve used a smartphone for any length of time, you’ve probably noticed that many apps these days have switched to a “dark mode” or “dark theme.”
For the same reason, Snapchatters frequently request a night mode. But Snapchat was slow to release this much-requested function. The dark mode option for iOS users was not released until May 2021.
Users of Android, however, have yet to see the official release (But, there are a couple of ways to enable it on Android).
If your phone has an AMOLED display, switching to dark mode will reduce power usage and reduce the risk of eye strain. This tutorial will cover the steps necessary to enable dark mode on both iOS and Android smartphones.

This Guide Will Teach You How to Enable Android’s Nighttime Display Mode
Snapchat, like Apple’s iOS, doesn’t offer a setting to activate the dark mode. We’ll use the phone’s display settings to activate the night mode. Follow these instructions only if you have a smartphone made by OnePlus, Oppo, Reamle, or Vivo.
Open Settings
The “Display and Brightness” menu is where you need to be.
Settings for the dark theme can be accessed by tapping on the corresponding button.
Select “Dark mode for third-party apps (Beta)”
Once you enable Snapchat’s Dark mode by scrolling down and tapping the switch, the app will take on a darker appearance.
We tried this procedure with the OnePlus, Oppo, Vivo, and Realme phones and found that it worked on all of them.

In case you have other phones, you can try following the same procedures, but if that does not work, you can use the below-mentioned approach and enable the dark mode.

Force-enabling dark mode on devices other than Oppo, OnePlus, and Vivo can be done by following the methods below.
Liberated Preferences

Look for the “Building number” section.
Click the Build button seven times in a row.
A toast will be made to you proclaiming your new status as a programmer.
Initiate a return to the configurations page.
Access the Programming Settings by selecting System in the menu.
Find the “override force-dark” option and click it.
Toggle on the switch to enable the feature.

By enabling the override force-dark option, your phone’s color scheme will be inverted, and the apps installed on your device will have dark backgrounds and bright text. This will have an effect on all apps, not just Snapchat.
Please take note that Snapchat’s new update introduced a black-and-white design scheme. This means that until a fix for this issue is released, the only solution is to use an earlier version of the programme.
You may get Snapchat version 10.72.0.0 from APK Mirror or any other reputable APK download site. After updating to this version of Snapchat, you can enable dark mode in the usual way.
