New information on Apple’s future 5G iPhone series, rumoured to be the iPhone 13 or the iPhone 12S, has surfaced on the internet, and fans are likely to be pleased with what they see.
It appears that the iPhone 13 series will have a reduced notch, according to a new leak from Twitter user @duanrui1205. Moreover, the tipster has provided a few photographs of the future iPhones’ front glass panels to substantiate the claim.
In order to demonstrate the differences in notch design, these panels are shown next to the iPhone 12 series screen in a few photographs.
The next iPhone 13 will have a smaller and more tiny notch, according to the photos. The notch’s width has shrunk, despite the fact that its height appears to be virtually unchanged.
Users will have more screen real estate on the iPhone if this turns out to be accurate. As a result, more information will be shown as well.

It is also apparent that the newest notch has a different layout and style.
The cutout confirms that the notch will include all of its sensors on the bottom and a speaker grille on top, as previously rumoured (and visible in the most recent leaks).
Sensors are located on either side of the speaker grille in the iPhone 12 series, for the time being.
In the leaked photographs of the fake iPhone 13 models provided by macotakara, we saw an iPhone 13 notch design identical to this one.
An Apple component supply chain in Asia typically uses these mockups as a basis for their measurements.
However, these should not be interpreted as the final design because they may vary significantly by the time they reach your hands.

For the time being, there’s a lot of speculation about the upcoming iPhone models. The most recent one focuses on Apple’s A15 Bionic processor, which will begin mass manufacturing in May.
A larger battery capacity and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate display are also rumoured. Direct time-of-flight (ToF) technology is also expected to be included in the next iPhone model, replacing the current Face ID components. As a result, the notch’s footprint will be smaller.
